“Eat Me” Business Cards Make Munchable Impressions


Taberu MeThere are everyday business cards and then there are the edible ones. Japan’s Taberu Me “cards” come in laser-edged foods such as nuts, rice, pasta, and coffee beans. Arigatu’s CO2 laser etches up to 700 characters/second with what they refer to as “clean-looking” logos, names, and telephone numbers. Weirdly, the word Taberu means “eat” and Me is either short for “meishu” (business card) or the English “me,” making us wonder if the concept is such an intelligent idea when meeting new clients. A set (150) of these are available for 5,800 yen (around $47.00) at Arigatou.
