Viewers can vote on their favorite advertising spots and share the videos on the social network of their choice.

The media’s been going crazy since recent rumors of staffing changes at American Idol surfaced. Simon Cowell revealed weeks ago that he’ll be jumping the sinking FOX flagship, and rumor has it that he’ll reunited with Paula Abdul on his Stateside version of X-Factor. Meanwhile, the folks behind Idol are reportedly looking for his replacement - and the rumors suggest that replacement might be radio shock jock Howard Stern.

On his Sirius radio program, Stern alluded to the rumors and added (in his usual ribald way) “there’s not a better job on the planet than judging that [expletive deleted] karaoke contest.” He then went on to say that he would do the show - if they offer $100 million. I don’t think that’s going to happen, so we can all take a big, deep breath of relief now.

The score may have been close for most of Super Bowl XLIV, but the game’s ratings were the best thing on TV…by far.

Last night’s battle between the Indianapolis Colts at the New Orleans Saints had 106.48 million Bud Light-swilling, Doritos-chomping sports fans glued to their TV sets. That number represents the largest viewing audience for any event in U.S. television history.

The previous record was established by the series finale of M*A*S*H. That 1983 event totaled a whopping 105.97 viewers.

Jay Leno and David Letterman’s Super Bowl commercial wasn’t the only spot yesterday to mock some television drama. ABC’s Lost also became the focus of one of Bud Light’s many ads.

Given the similarities between the actual show and the clip, you’d have thought executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof were somehow involved. Well, they weren’t—but that doesn’t mean they didn’t enjoy the commercial.

You watch enough reality TV shows, you’re going to start seeing some of the same faces. Not all of these repeated-realers choose to use different names and fake accents when they’re appearing before the cameras, however, and that’s why American Idol’s Nicci Nix is extremely special…or very, very dumb.

Nix originally billed herself as a Florence, Italy native and spoke with an accent (not to mention that inordinately high-pitched speaking voice) before she sang prettily for the panel to win her shot at success in Hollywood Week. But if you’ve watched a lot of Fear Factor and Making the Band, you might know Nicci by another name - another name, another birthplace, another accent…whatever. If Jay Leno is willing to share his program with Jimmy Kimmel, we shouldn’t be surprised to see him in a Late Show spot…right?

Those not distracted during last night’s game were probably caught off guard by a commercial that only lasted 15 seconds. David Letterman, Oprah and Leno all on the same couch together? WTF?

According to Late Show producer Rob Burnett, the idea for the promo came from Letterman himself. The shoot, which was done in secret at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, came together quickly within the past two weeks. Sadly, audiences missed on a possible fourth guest.

• Ghost Whisperer (2.2/6 in 18-49) pulled in 8.8 million.
• Law & Order: SVU* (1.1/3) cuffed 5.6 million.
• Supernanny (1.5/5) scolded 5.4 million.
• House* (1.3/4) rounded up 3.9 million.
• Smallville (1.2/4) scored 2.8 million.

• Bank of Hollywood (E!, 8pm):  “Contestants include a daredevil in a wheelchair, an aspiring soap actress and a bodybuilding grandma.” The actress’ Guiding Light severance checks eventually disqualified her from the program.
• Heroes (NBC, 9pm):  “Hiro reviews his past choices and takes action to stop a catastrophe.” If he can make it as far back as Season 2, he might be able to save NBC.
• Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp (VH1, 9pm):  “The Season 7 premiere introduces the new cast members: Sebastian Bach, Bobby Brown, Nicole Eggert, Kevin Federline, Shar Jackson, Jay McCarroll, KayCee Stroh and Tanisha Thomas.” At least one of these celebrities was brought in from Skid Row.

On March 26, famed British chef Jamie Oliver will attempt to bring one of his passion projects to America. Unfortunately, his idea to introduce healthy meals to the schools of Huntington, West Virginia will come with resistance. Lots of it.

FOX’s ride to the top ended quickly. When originals returned to ABC and CBS, so did the numbers. Last night, the Alphabet network - with no help from The Deep End - narrowly took first in the demos. Meanwhile, CBS was easily the winner with the viewers.

• CBS’ Survivor Survivor special (2.4/7) had 8.3 million looking back.
• Community (2.2/7) entertained 5.2 million.
• The Deep End (5.1 million, 1.3/4) plunged by 900,000.
• Parks and Recreation (4.9 million, 2.3/6) hit a season high rating.
• The Vampire Diaries (4 million, 1.8/5) sucked in 200,000 more.

• Mercy (6.3 million, 1.6/5) added on 500,000.
• Life Unexpected* (1.4 million, 0.6/2) slid by 300,000.

American Idol 9 viewers got a little gypped on Wednesday night. Instead of featuring a single audition city, we were given a random montage of singers from across the nation - and a few highlights of those we’ll be seeing in next week’s Hollywood round.

Larry Platt’s “Pants on the Ground,” was featured first, of course. The catchy little ditty has truly swept the nation, springing up all over YouTube in the weeks since it was first introduced. The funny clips of this number led into a not-so-subtle segue about song selection…and then, our hour-long montage episode was truly underway.

Lost’s 3-hour kickoff might not have done enough to beat the activity over at FOX, but it did do well enough to beat itself. Yesterday’s event showed year-to-year premiere improvement for the first time since Season 2. The series also had its best rating in almost two years.

• American Idol (8.9/23 in 18-49) raised 300,000 more.
• NCIS (19.1 million, 4.3/11) fell by 1 million.
• The first hour of Lost* (4.1/11) recapped 9.9 million.
• A Biggest Loser* repeat (1.6/4) weighed in with 4.9 million.
• 90210* (0.4/1) kept 873,000 busy.
